By requesting and using one of the Services, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Please read the following information and keep it for future reference.
The words "we", "us", "our", “the Bank” and "First Security" refer to First Security Bank, its parents and subsidiaries, and any agent, independent contractor or assignee First Security Bank may, in its sole discretion, involve in the provision of the Site. The words "you" and "your" refers to visitors and users of the Online Banking Site. A reference to the term "Site" refers to First Security Banks Online Banking Site.
By using First Security Bank’s Online Banking Service, you are entering into a legal agreement with First Security Bank to abide by all the rules and regulations of the Online Banking Service Agreement entered therein, as may be amended from time to time. By Clicking “ACCEPT”, “AGREE”, “PROCEED”, or “CONTINUE”, as applicable, or by using any of First Security Bank’s Online Banking Services (as described herein), you agree to be bound by and fully comply with each and every provision of the Online Banking Service Agreement.
Customer’s Obligations
The following definitions apply in this Agreement. Online Banking is the Internet-based service providing access to your First Security Bank account(s); Online Account means any of First Security's accounts from which you will be conducting transactions using a Service, and "Password" is the code you will create, after the Bank has flagged your accounts for Online Banking access that establishes your connection to the Service.
The Bank will provide instructions on how to use the Online Banking service. You will gain access to your Online Account(s) using your Internet-enabled device, your Internet Service Provider, your Password, your Login ID, and Multi-Factor Authentication.
Each individual who has access to Online Banking, including each individual named on joint accounts, must designate a PASSWORD. Your password must be a minimum of 8 characters, up to a maximum of 15 characters. You may be required to change your password periodically to enhance security.
In addition, the Password protects you against unauthorized users of these services. You agree not to let anyone gain access to the Service or to let anyone know your Password used with the Services. You agree to assume responsibility for all transactions up to the limits allowed by applicable law. Remember, knowledge of your Password by an unauthorized party welcomes the unauthorized use of these services. If you tell anyone your Password and they use these services, First Security Bank will not be held responsible.
If you believe that someone has gained knowledge of your Password; or that someone has transferred or may transfer money from your account without your permission, notify the Bank immediately via the telephone numbers provided in this agreement. Prompt telephoning is the best way to keep possible losses to a minimum. You could lose all the money in your account if you fail to exercise your rights within the limits set forth in this Agreement. THE BANK WILL NOT ACCEPT NOTIFICATION OF LOST OR STOLEN PASSWORDS, UNAUTHORIZED TRANSFERS, STOP PAYMENT REQUESTS, OR CHANGE OF ADDRESS REQUESTS VIA E-MAIL.
If you tell us within two business days of learning of the theft or loss of your Password, you can lose no more than $50.00 if someone uses these services. However, if you fail to notify us within those two (2) business days and the Bank discovers we could have prevented the person from using these services without your permission if you had told us, you could lose as much as $500.00.
Notify the Bank immediately if your monthly statement shows transfers you did not make. If you do not notify us within sixty (60) days after the statement was mailed to you, the Bank is under no obligation to retrieve or refund any portion of the lost funds.
By using First Security Bank’s Online Banking Service, the user agrees:
- Transmission of confidential business and sensitive personal information is at the users (your) own risk.
- First Security Bank reserves the right to monitor and review transmissions on-line and to remove or reject any material which the Bank (at its sole discretion) believes may be unlawful or objectionable, without prior notice to the user.

- Any unauthorized communication of information concerning any password or other access code of any other user is strictly prohibited.

You understand and acknowledge that Online Banking may not reflect transactions made by multiple users from the same account if different Login IDs are used. You agree to communicate with other persons with authorized access to your accounts regarding transfers or bill payments in order to avoid overdrafts.
Online Bill Pay
To initiate Online Bill Pay (OBP), you must:
- Designate the Bank account from which payments are to be made,
- The complete name of each payee,
- The account number and the payee’s remittance address as shown on the billing statement or invoice,
- The amount of the payment and,
- The date you wish the payment to be debited from your account.
If the date you want the payment to be debited from your account is not a Business Day, your account will be debited the next business day before 5:00 pm (CST). By using Online Bill Pay (OBP), you agree that the Bank will charge your designated account by electronic transfer, “no signature required draft” or by debiting and remitting funds on your behalf. You understand the Bank reserves the right to refuse to pay any payee you designate and will notify you promptly in that event.
If you want to add a new “Payee,” select the “Add Payee” tab located in your Bill Pay application. You may add a new fixed payment to a “Payee” by accessing the service and entering the appropriate information. Most other additions, deletions, or changes can be made in writing or by using the service. The Bank reserves the right to refuse the designation of a “Payee” for any reason. You may pay any “Payee” within the United States (including U.S. territories and APO’s/AEO’s). The Bank is not responsible for payments that cannot be made due to incomplete, incorrect, or outdated information.
Single Payments – a single payment will be processed on the business day (generally Monday through Friday, except certain holidays) that you designate as the payment’s process date, provided the payment is submitted prior to the daily cut-off time on that date. The daily cut-off time, which is controlled by the Bank, is currently 3:00pm CST.
A single payment submitted after the cut-off time on the designated process date will be processed on the next business day. If you designate a non-business date (generally weekends and certain holidays) as the payment’s process date, the payment will be processed on the first business day following the designated process date.
Recurring Payments - When a recurring payment is processed, it is automatically rescheduled by the system. Based upon your selected frequency settings for the payment, a process date is calculated for the next occurrence of the payment. If the calculated process date is a non-business date (generally weekends and certain holidays), it is adjusted based upon the following rules:
- If the recurring payment’s “Pay Before” option is selected, the process date for the new occurrence of the payment is adjusted to the first business date prior to the calculated process date.
- If the recurring payment’s “Pay After” option is selected, the process date for the new occurrence of the payment is adjusted to the first business date after the calculated process date.
- If your frequency settings for the recurring payment specify the 29th, 30th, or 31st as a particular day of the month for processing and that day does not exist in the month of the calculated process date, then the last calendar day of that month is used as the calculated process date.
The system will calculate the Estimated Arrival Date of your payment, this is only an estimate, please allow ample time for your payments to reach your “Payees.”
